I have just finished reading The Midnight Shrink by Edward A. Dreyfus and I think that one is going to be very hard to beat this year.
A truly gripping psychological thriller that centers around a psychologist who works out of a van in Skid Row during the dark hours. Such an original and interesting concept. Wonderfully written and totally unpredictable.
