Suspense Sunday: The Brotherhood of the Rose by David Morrell

Suspense Sunday titles are thriller or suspense titles that I’ve either read or am anticipating reading! Enjoy!

Today’s title is: The Brotherhood of the Rose by David Morrell

They were orphans, Chris and Saul–raised in a Philadelphia school for boys, bonded by friendship, and devoted to a mysterious man called Eliot. He visited them and brought them candy. He treated them like sons. He trained them to be assassins. Now he is trying desperately to have them killed.

Spanning the globe and full of heart-stopping action, The Brotherhood of the Rose is an astonishing novel of fierce loyalty and violent betrayal, of murders planned and coolly executed, of revenge bitterly, urgently desired.

My take: The Brotherhood of the Rose was one of the first real espionage/thriller books that I ever read, and it got me hooked on the genre. If you like your thrillers with great characters, tons of twists and turns, and action that doesn’t stop, you’ll love this one!
Purchase Brotherhood of the Rose: Amazon | Barnes and Noble | Kindle ($5.99)
